Overture

A rising tide of concrete had been submerging the green lands around us, we weren’t watching and suddenly felt it lapping the tip of our toes.

We were caught unguarded, the invasive force seemed unstoppable, the doors were opened from the inside and trust in our social cohesion crumbled. For a short moment, the idea of accepting defeat gracefully could have crossed our minds specially because we thought we were lonely while pushed through the formalities of granting an audience to the aspiring sovereign.

But as soon as we started to voice our thoughts we reunited in a spontaneous grassroots movement to preserve the long-lived nature, its historic heritage, the beauty of our community and the universal access to recreation. All gravitating around the most emblematic golf courses recently endangered by avaricious interests in the city of Tamarac.
